About Us

Seaglass & Linen was born from the dream of a first-generation immigrant to the United States, Beata Kirschbaum.

Beata grew up in Poland before moving to Greenwich, Connecticut at 7 years old. It was in Greenwich where Beata first found her love for the ocean. After working in mortgage and accounting, and then having a baby, Beata discovered a love for working with people and finding ways to advocate for a cleaner Earth.

In March 2025, Seaglass & Linen opened its doors for the first time at The Mix in Niantic, CT, before expanding across the street to their current location.

Beata’s passion is to make a lasting impact for future generations by selling products that preserve our planet, protect our oceans & give back to the community.

Beata’s goal is to make Seaglass & Linen Connecticut’s premier boutique for all things sustainability & a community center for local events and creatives to share the space.
