About Us

Meet Beata

Seaglass & Linen was born from the dream of a first-generation immigrant, wife, and new mother, Beata Kirschbaum.

Beata grew up in Poland before moving to Greenwich, Connecticut at the age of seven, where she first discovered her love for the ocean. After years working in accounting and HR , she realized—especially after becoming a mother—that Excel sheets and office walls weren’t where her heart belonged. What she wanted was to build something meaningful: a place that cared for the planet, celebrated creativity, and connected people.

In March 2025, Seaglass & Linen opened its doors in Niantic, Connecticut. What began as a small boutique quickly blossomed into a community hub, now thriving in its expanded space across the street.

Today, Seaglass & Linen is more than just a boutique—it’s a commitment to sustainability and a space where local artists, makers, and dreamers come together. Each product is thoughtfully chosen to preserve our planet, protect our oceans, and give back to the community.

Beata’s vision is to make Seaglass & Linen Connecticut’s premier destination for sustainable style, coastal living, and creative connection—leaving a lasting impact for generations to come.
